Preview: Chester FC Women v Warrington Wolverines



Chester FC Women will be looking to return to winning ways this weekend when they welcome Warrington Wolverines to Ellesmere Port Sports Village on Sunday afternoon. The Seals will hope to continue their unbeaten home record against Warrington who sit two points and one place above them in 3rd place, having played one game less.


Form Guide:

Following last weeks 6-2 defeat at Salford, the hosts have picked up three points from there last nine on offer and will be hoping their fortunes change on home turf. Chester will be looking to rediscover their early season form and push on up the table.


As for the visitors, Warrington are one of only two sides yet to taste defeat this season having picked up four wins and three draws from sevens games which have seen the Wolverines climb to 3rd place.

Following the defeat at Salford, Chester FC Women's manager Martin Fitzsimons spoke to Sealstalk. 'We know how we want to play and it's just a case of executing it on the pitch. When we get it right we're very good and there are not many times in the league that can match us'.
