Chester FC Women are set to face off with Stockport County Ladies in the quarter finals of the Cheshire County Cup.

The tie is scheduled for the 16th February and will be played at Ellesmere Port Sports Village.

Chester dispatched West Kirby 3-1 in the previous round in what was a dominant performance from Martin Fitzsiomons' side, with goals coming from Ashleigh Bullock (x2) and Abi France.

It's been a great start to the competition for the Blues with an opening round 5-0 demolition of Ashville Ladies, followed up by last weekends impressive performance.

The Blues made it to the semi-final last season, but missed out at a spot in the final at the hands of Crewe Alexandra Ladies. Similarly Stockport also got knocked out at that stage against Tranmere Rovers Ladies as both sides will be hoping to get even further in the cup this time round.
