After a brilliant performance, Chester recorded their first win in four with a convincing 6-2 victory against Didsbury Ladies.
One of Chester's key players on the day was midfielder and new signing Anna Jones, the tricky winger added two goals for the Seals on her first start for the club. Jones was voted player of the match, with 60% of the vote.
Jones with her tricky play and fast pace was a constant threat all game for Chester, grabbing two goals on the day showed manager Martin Fitzsimons' got his tactics spot on with choosing to start her on the left.
Fitzsimons' was incredibly pleased with the start and impact the new signing has had since arriving at the club from Llandudno Ladies a little over two weeks ago.
" She's a fantastic player, it's a testament to her because she travels a long way".
"So it's a testament to the club, for the fact that she's willing to travel. And she's a quality player as well with a lot to offer for us".
Defender Ana Duran came in second place with 21% of the vote whilst forward Amy Broomhead received 14% after breaking her goal drought and attacker Rachel Lever gained 5%.
