Chester booked their place in the quarter final of the Cheshire County Cup with a comfortable 3-1 victory over West Kirby.
Fitzsimons' side have been struggling for results recently as the win on the weekend ended a four game losing streak, something which pleased the boss.
The Blue's deserved the win and gave West Kirby very little chance with a dominant performance from front to back. The Seals made the semi-final of the competition last season and will be looking to replicate that good run.

Chester named an unchanged side, something which hasn't been a luxury for the manager this season. Fitzsimons will be hoping to keep the same starting line up and keep up the good performances with some difficult fixtures coming up.
However, the Chester manager will be without midfielder Amy Smith for the foreseeable future, after a bad injury on the stroke of half time, which is a big blow to his side. Nevertheless, the fixtures come thick and fast and Chester are back to league action at the weekend against Didsbury.
